“Of all the dangers we face,
from climate chaos to nuclear war,
none is so great as the deadening of our response.”

Description of what will happen during Rise & Regenerate - Rites of Passage
Welcome to "Rise & Regenerate - Rites of Passage"!
Our program is dedicated to raising awareness and fostering action on critical ecological and social issues.
We believe in a holistic approach to activism and post-activism, one that recognizes the intricate connections between the climate crisis and various systems of inequality such as race, gender identity, disability, and class.
We will put focus into deconstructing paradigms, decolonizing our worldview, and staying with discomfort as we navigate the complexities of the world together.
In our activities, deeply rooted in deep ecology and rites of passage, participants will find the strength and insight needed to navigate the pain of the world and its transformation. Through exploration of personal realities and community shaping, our aim is to equip individuals with the tools and motivation required for profound societal change.
Throughout this transformative journey, our goal is to support the development of healthy, resilient individuals.
We focus on uncovering unique talents, nurturing creativity, and fostering a sense of responsibility towards our communities.
Our structured program, designed akin to a rite of passage, guides participants through profound metamorphosis, leaving them nourished, empowered, and with a clear sense of purpose.
Our program is open to young people aged 18 to 30, as well as group leaders (one for each country) with no age limit, from Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and South Africa.
This highly affordable course offers practical experiences in systemic, networked, distributed lifestyle and collaborative leadership opportunities.
Should you be selected, the minimum participation fee stands at 150 euros, adaptable according to individual circumstances. This fee covers accommodation, meals, activities, and sessions. For those facing financial constraints, please reach out to us to explore available solutions.

Inspiration song
“She’s On Her Way”
by Arundhati Roy and Aly Halpert
The policemen have thrown away their guns
They kiss their sons and their daughters and their souls are at peace
No more black girls, black boys, trans women dying
No more reasons that could ever justify their loss
And mothers send their teens out at night
To breathe the sweet summer air
And exhale on the ground
The earth was made for them, the earth is made for them
She is on her way, on her way
And no one can be silent anymore
Every death is a death that my family mourns
We’ve traded in our numbness and all of our fear
To fight for the lives we now hold dear
And everyone has come to greet the reckoning
The place where our hearts got smaller and smaller
Now grows to hold the pain
The brokenness that leads to change
She is on her way, on her way
Another world’s not only possible
On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing
She’s on her way, on her way
And when the world we’re building is ours
We’ll be tall inside
There will be no question as we pray and sing
That we have each other and what that means
We’ll finally get to be together
Stare with our hearts at what has been and find some place, of home
(And find some place of home)
She is on her way, on her way
They kiss their sons and their daughters and their souls are at peace
No more black girls, black boys, trans women dying
No more reasons that could ever justify their loss
And mothers send their teens out at night
To breathe the sweet summer air
And exhale on the ground
The earth was made for them, the earth is made for them
She is on her way, on her way
